The second episode of BBC Sherlock‘s third series will be released tomorrow, on BBCOne, at 8:30 pm
The episode, entitled The Sign of Three will focus on John Watson’s wedding (to Mary Morstan, of course, played by Amanda Abbington), and a surprise case during it.
I’ve heard a lot of speculation about this episode and I would advise to click HERE for 10 teasers about it. Of course, if there is EVER a stag party or wedding planning montage, my life will be complete.
Till then, I wish everyone good luck, and have fun watching the show!

WHAT’S THAT? MORE SHERLOCK SEASON 3 PHOTOS? YES PLEASE! (Spoilers Ahead)
It looks like after two years’ worth of silence, BBC’s Sherlock is coming back with a BANG.
With extravagant social media promotions (see literal empty hearse promotions around London and the #SherlockLives tag on Twitter), interactive trailers, and new photos coming out almost week-after-week, Sherlock’s return looks to be a busy and promising one.
What does worry me is it’s the BBC. They’re giving fans waaaay too much stuff, so as a fan I do begin to wonder if something VERY painful is up ahead.
NEWS IN THE FANDOM:
(from Mark Gatiss’ official Twitter account)
With this tweet, fans are up in speculation on what could be the content of this special vehicle; most have guessed that it could be the series’ air date.
As to what this certain vehicle could be, some have speculated that a hearse will be driving down the streets, based on the title of the season’s first episode, “The Empty Hearse.” It does make sense, if a hearse indeed drives down the streets tomorrow.
Nonetheless, Sherlock is STILL intent on the whole social media aspect, as the VERY specific hashtag #r3spects is used for this announcement by the fansite, Sherlockology.
More on this story tomorrow, as the vehicle roams around the said areas…

After all the chaos with John’s Blog and the Doctor Who 50th, it seems like it wasn’t enough! The BBC released this trailer TODAY, and the hashtag “#SherlockLives” is featured predominantly in the video. It is even trending on twitter RIGHT NOW
The trailer is a GREAT teaser; not revealing too many details about the season just yet, but revealing enough to get people curious and excited. The social media platform with hashtags is greatly used and I think it will be again.
NO DATE HAS BEEN RELEASED BY THE BBC, AND THE TRAILER ONLY HINTS AT IT “COMING SOON”.
November sure is proving to be a busy month, as more fandom news comes along the way.
On Monday, November 4th, the official BBCOne twitter posted a teaser image from the third series of Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
The first episode of the third series is called “The Empty Hearse,” and will answer the biggest mystery of the series so far: How did Sherlock survive his fall?
There is no official air date from the BBC just yet, but it has been announced that there will be a special screening at the British Film Institute Southbank in London, on December 15. PBS has also announced that the series will air on January 19, 2014, at 10 pm.
Fans have been waiting for about a year now, since the series’ finale in early 2012, and are still waiting for the BBC’s official air date. Looks like the three years that John Watson has canonically waited for are turning into the fandom’s waiting years…let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
