The second episode of BBC Sherlock‘s third series will be released tomorrow, on BBCOne, at 8:30 pm
The episode, entitled The Sign of Three will focus on John Watson’s wedding (to Mary Morstan, of course, played by Amanda Abbington), and a surprise case during it.
I’ve heard a lot of speculation about this episode and I would advise to click HERE for 10 teasers about it. Of course, if there is EVER a stag party or wedding planning montage, my life will be complete.
Till then, I wish everyone good luck, and have fun watching the show!
OH AND you might need these…
I apologize for being a bit unprofessional in this article, my emotions have just been compromised by The Empty Hearse.
The episode aired today, and it was just a whirlwind of emotions, fanfiction/fandom space references, tears, and laughter all the way through. It’s definitely bolder and different from the previous Sherlock series. Many loose ends were tied up (although the biggest mystery of Sherlock’s “death” still isn’t), and a new villain arises.
I am not going to to a review of the show at this point, sadly, but I will leave with the trailer for the next episode, The Sign of the Three
WHAT’S THAT? MORE SHERLOCK SEASON 3 PHOTOS? YES PLEASE! (Spoilers Ahead)
It looks like after two years’ worth of silence, BBC’s Sherlock is coming back with a BANG.
With extravagant social media promotions (see literal empty hearse promotions around London and the #SherlockLives tag on Twitter), interactive trailers, and new photos coming out almost week-after-week, Sherlock’s return looks to be a busy and promising one.
What does worry me is it’s the BBC. They’re giving fans waaaay too much stuff, so as a fan I do begin to wonder if something VERY painful is up ahead.
HAVE A DRAMATIC SOUNDTRACK FOR THIS DRAMATIC NEWS (just press play, yeah?)
(Excuse me, I’m just going to sit here for a bit.)
Yesterday’s tweets from the crew of BBC’s Sherlock ring true today. This morning, a hearse was seen around the London area, bearing the airdate of the first episode of series 3, “The Empty Hearse” (VERY FITTING ADVERTISING for an episode with that title. Kudos to whoever thought of that.)
The UK airdate, as seen above, is on January 1st, 2014 (Happy New Year too, BBC </sarcasm>)
It has also been confirmed that the other airdates for the series will be on the following dates:
Episode 2, “The Sign of the Three”: January 5, 2014
Episode 3, “His Last Vow”: January 12, 2014
The US airdate for “The Empty Hearse” will be on January 19, 2014; a WEEK after all three episodes have been released in the UK
There has yet to be an AIRTIME to be announced by the BBC, so stay tuned for that announcement.
